The Biscoff cake consists of three layers of vanilla sponge with two layers of Biscoff Swiss Meringue buttercream filling, covered with Swiss Meringue buttercream and garnished with Biscoff drips, Biscoff biscuits and crumbs on the side.

The cake is available as Regular, Vegan, Egg-free and Cotton Sponge.

Vegan details The vegan cake batter uses apple sauce (apple puree) as a replacement for the eggs and does not contain any dairy milk; the vegan buttercream uses non-dairy butter.
Egg-Free details Egg-free cake batter uses apple sauce as a replacement for the eggs; and Ermine buttercream which does not contain eggs.

What is a Cotton sponge cake? Cotton sponge cake is commonly sold in Asian cake shops, it has less sugar and dairy (no butter) and is much lighter than other regular sponge cakes. The cake is baked in a water bath for one and a half hour to produce a much more soft and moist sponge.
