The durian cream cotton cake consists of two layers of soft, light, and fluffy cotton sponges and a layer of a generous amount of durian mixed with cream filling; covered with Chantilly cream (sweeten whipped cream) and topped with three seasonal fresh fruit.

What is Cotton sponge cake? Cotton sponge cake is commonly sold in Asian cake shops, it has less sugar and dairy (no butter) and is much lighter than other regular sponge cakes. The cake is baked in a water bath for one and a half hour to produce a much more soft and moist sponge.
