The Matcha Red Bean Cotton cake consists of three soft, light, and fluffy Matcha cotton sponges and two layers of homemade chunky Adzuki red bean paste and Matcha Creme Patissiere; covered with Matcha Chantilly cream (sweetened whipped cream) and decorated and topped with 
strawberries!

The red bean paste is made with Adzuki beans that have been boiled and caramelised with sugar.

Premium Matcha powder is used for the cotton sponge, Creme Patissiere and Chantilly cream. 

Choose the cake with or without red beans!

What is Cotton sponge cake? Cotton sponge cake is commonly sold in Asian cake shops, it has less sugar and dairy (no butter) and is much lighter than other regular sponge cakes. The cake is baked in a water bath for one and a half hour to produce a much more soft and moist sponge.
